Palestra students organize one of the TOP running races in the Czech Republic

PALESTRA Kbelská 10 took 5th place in the category TOP Running race in the poll announced by the Czech Athletic Association. In the competition of hundreds of running events across the country, this is an extraordinary award - and for VŠTVS PALESTRA it is also a clear proof that the connection between teaching and practice works.

Moreover, the race has been in the top five for several years in a row, which confirms its long-term quality and stability.

From an organisational point of view, however, this success is exceptional for another reason. PALESTRA Kbelská 10 is an event in which the following people have a major part to play students of the school in their professional practice. Each year brings a new team, new experiences and new challenges - yet we manage to maintain a professional standard of the race that stands up even in a national comparison.

For students, it is a unique opportunity to participate in the organization of a large sporting event with a capacity of 1,700 runners, to deal with real situations in the field of sports management, marketing, communication and logistics and at the same time to take responsibility for specific sections of the organization.

Placing in the TOP 5 is not only a recognition of the race itself, but also a confirmation that the practices of the students of VŠTVS PALESTRA are carried out at the highest level of the Czech running environment - and that they are performed in a high quality and professional manner.
