Prof. PaedDr. Rudolf Psotta, Ph.D. becomes the new Rector of the College of Physical Education and Sport PALESTRA on 16 October 2021.

The newly appointed Rector of the University of Physical Education and Sport PALESTRA, Prof. PaedDr. Rudolf Psotta, Ph.D., works at the Department of Wellness and Nutrition. He has extensive experience in the field of science and research, he is a researcher or co-investigator of research grant projects of GAČR, TAČR, etc. He is also a member of the evaluation panel of the Medical and Health Sciences of the Czech Government Council for Science, Research and Innovation.

Prof. PaedDr. Rudolf Psotta, Ph. D. is a professor of kinanthropology at the University of Physical Education and Sport PALESTRA and the Faculty of Physical Culture of Palacký University in Olomouc, he also worked at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University in Prague. He graduated in biology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and in physical education at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University in Prague. In his research activities he first dealt with stress physiology as applied to sport, and since 2009 with human sensorimotor and psychomotor physiology.
