PALESTRA at the ‘Active Child’ conference

PALESTRA at the ‘Active Child’ conference

Representatives from VŠTVS PALESTRA took part in the specialist conference ‘The Active Child: Physical Activity as a Means of Preventing Obesity, Anxiety and Social Isolation’, which took place at the Olivova Children’s Sanatorium.

Professor Rudolf Psotta and Associate Professor Monika Šorfová presented the potential applications of virtual and augmented reality in rehabilitation-based physical training for children. 🥽

Modern technology can offer new ways of making physical intervention and rehabilitation for children more engaging, more personalised and better tailored to their needs.

The conference brought together experts from the fields of healthcare, physical activity, sport and prevention, and sparked a wider discussion on how to create the right conditions for children’s healthy physical development. 🤝
