The public knew him only as the hero of the famous Dakar Rally. Lukáš Kvapil helped a badly injured rival on the toughest motor race, which he later paid for due to exhaustion. However, after returning home, he collected fair play prizes and was given the label of "Dakar Knight", without anyone knowing that the professional soldier, who took part in three missions, suffered from post-traumatic stress syndrome. That he is living in a devastating debt trap, culminating in personal bankruptcy, and that he has no contact with any of his four children. And that his troubles have driven him to attempt suicide.
