These days, students of the PALESTRA VŠTVS are actively involved in the organizing team of the Olympic Festival in České Budějovice, where they are fulfilling their continuous professional practice.

The Olympic Festival is the first of this year's major sporting events where our students have the opportunity to gain valuable experience on the ground - in the environment of a top sporting event with thousands of visitors.

The organizers are very appreciative of their work. The students approach their tasks responsibly, professionally and with the energy that is crucial for such events. Their commitment contributes to the smooth running of the festival and at the same time makes a good name not only for themselves but also for the whole Palestra.

Internships at major sporting events are an integral part of the study and allow you to connect theoretical knowledge with the real environment of sports management, event organization and working with visitors.

More opportunities await our students in the coming months:

• in March at the World Figure Skating Championships in Prague,
• in May at the European Veterans Volleyball Championships in Prague,
• in June at the Children and Youth Olympics in Prague.

We are delighted that students are able to engage in events of the highest calibre and gradually build professional experience that will have a direct impact on their future careers.
