The members of the Academic Community and other employees of VŠTVS PALESTRA express their deep regret for the tragic event that occurred in the afternoon of 21 December 2023 at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. This sad event, which deeply affects not only the entire academic community, but in fact the entire civil society, will remain in our hearts a permanent stain and memory of the Advent time of 2023.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the colleagues, co-workers, classmates and other loved ones of the victims of the tragic attack. At the same time, we express our condolences to the bereaved families of the victims and hope for the rescue of the injured.
