VŠTVS PALESTRA in cooperation with Economic impacT v.o.s. (www.economicimpact.eu) and Equica (www.equica.cz) submitted an application for support from the Czech Technology Agency's (TAČR) Éta grant programme entitled "Healthy lifestyle in the Czech Republic and its support through education of the sports environment" in October last year.
The main objective of the project is to create a training programme for managers of sports clubs (with emphasis on smaller sports clubs, where management positions are often held by volunteers or part-time employees) and thus help to improve the performance of clubs - for example, competencies in the areas of: communication with athletes and parents of children; communication with founders and partners of clubs; fundraising and accounting for grant programmes; proper and efficient use of sports facilities, etc. The partner that will subsequently use the results is the National Sports Agency.
A pre-survey is currently underway as part of the student research support from the internal VŠTVS PALESTRA grant, with students approaching respondents with the first questionnaire. We are asking all those contacted to help with the project. If in doubt, please contact Tereza Hájková, praxe@palestra.cz
