Service by public notice

This page is used to serve undelivered or undeliverable documents to students of VŠTVS PALESTRA according to Section 69a (2) of the Higher Education Act:

If a document cannot be served in proceedings under section 68 because the student has failed to comply with the obligation referred to in section 63(3)(b), or if the document cannot be served at the address for service notified by the student, the document shall be served by public notice, and the university shall not be obliged to appoint a guardian for the student.

Service by public notice pursuant to Section 25 of the Administrative Code:

1. Service shall be effected by public notice on persons whose residence or domicile is unknown and on persons to whom service is demonstrably impossible, as well as on persons who are unknown, and in other cases provided for by law.
2. Service by public notice shall be effected by posting the document, or a notice of the possibility of receiving the document, on the official notice board of the administrative authority which serves the document; the date of posting shall be marked on the document. The document or notice shall also be published in a manner permitting remote access.

Letters can be picked up at the study department during office hours.

On the fifteenth day after posting, the document shall be deemed to have been served if the obligation under the second sentence has also been fulfilled within that period.
