Conditions of admission
- payment of the application fee of CZK 850. The fee is deemed to be paid at the moment of its registration in the Moggis information system
- passing the entrance exam
- documentation of the prescribed documents
- applicants who have paid the administrative fee for the application for admission may attend the entrance examination;
- before the entrance exam, the applicant shall present his/her ID card;
- submit the prescribed documents no later than the day of the entrance examination.
We recommend that you sort out the recognition of credits from your previous studies as early as during the admissions process, at the latest before the entrance examination takes place, not only after enrolment. This means that an applicant’s placement in the appropriate year of study can be taken into account at the time the decision on admission is made. Before submitting an official application (for which a fee is payable), you must first complete the form for the preliminary assessment of items, free of charge. Only after successfully completing the admissions process and the preliminary assessment can an official application for the recognition of modules be submitted.

You can submit the required attachments either in traditional paper form, or entirely electronically (via a data box).

Please choose one delivery method and follow these guidelines:
Traditional paper-based delivery (by post or in person)
School leaving certificate: Deliver a certified copy (certified by a notary or via Czech POINT). Never send an ordinary, uncertified copy. If you deliver the documents in person, you may present the original; we will verify it ourselves.
Confirmation from a GP: Deliver or bring paper form bearing the doctor’s original stamp and signature.
Declaration of no criminal record: Deliver or bring paper form.

In accordance with Section 49(1) of Act No.111/1998 Coll. on Universities, applicants must provide a medical report from a registered provider in the field of general practical medicine (or practical medicine for children and adolescents). The report must contain a clear statement on the medical fitness to study the chosen programme of study. The certificate may also be issued by a general practitioner abroad - in this case it must be accompanied by an officially certified translation into Czech (not valid for documents in Slovak). The certificate must be issued in the calendar year in which the applicant starts his/her studies.
Fully electronic delivery (via data box)
Only select this option if you own your own personal data box (natural persons) and you want to sort everything out online without having to visit the school.
Please note: For legal reasons, the school cannot accept documents sent via standard email (including scanned copies).
School leaving certificate: Deliver PDF file from an authorised conversion. They’ll do this for you whilst you wait at any of our service points Czech POINT (at the post office or a government office), where your paper certificate will be legally converted into electronic form. Upload the resulting PDF with the verification clause to your data box. A simple scan or a photo taken on a mobile phone is not sufficient (in the digital world, this is considered an invalid copy).
Confirmation from a GP: Have the form signed and stamped by your GP and take it to the contact point Czech POINT (at the post office), where you can have a copy made certified conversion to PDF format. Please send us the resulting PDF file with the verification clause via the data box. (Ordinary scans or photos taken on a mobile phone will not be accepted).
Declaration of no criminal record: Please fill in the form download and fill it in on your computer. Save the file as PDF. Do NOT print or sign this form (either by hand or electronically). The document is signed simply by sending it from your personal data box.

Ordinary date of the entrance examination
- the entrance exam takes place on 25 June 2026
- alternative date of the entrance examination on 2 July 2026
An alternative date is only permitted in the event of illness or a state final exam/entrance exam at another school. In this case, the applicant submits the application via the Moggis information system (use "Other application") and attaches a medical certificate or a certificate from the university stating that the examinations have been held. The application is approved by the Vice-Chancellor for Teaching.
Applicants who wish to benefit from support for students with specific needs should contact the following after submitting their application to study Counseling Center.
Entrance exam - Thematic areas:
- Biology (20 questions);
- Physics (15 questions);
- Chemistry (15 questions);
- English language (10 questions).
The admission examination in the subject areas takes the form of one common multiple-choice test. Out of the 4 answers offered, only one answer is correct. Each correct answer to a test question is worth 1 point. 0 points are awarded for incorrect, no answer or multiple answers. The maximum number of points is 60 for the test as a whole. The minimum score for the entrance examination is 20. 75 minutes are allowed for the test. All applicants must take the entrance examination.
Applicants who have passed the entrance examination successfully will be admitted in the order of the highest number of points obtained until the capacity of admitted applicants to the study programme is reached. In the event of a tie between several applicants at the cut-off point, all such applicants will be admitted regardless of capacity.
Entrance exam results
Candidates will receive the results of the entrance examination via the Moggis information system by 6 July 2026. Applicants who are admitted on the basis of the results of the entrance examination must conclude a Study Contract and pay the tuition fees according to the Study Contract within ten days of the publication of the results. The admission decision will be received immediately after the above conditions have been fulfilled via the Moggis information system and the applicant may proceed to enrol no later than 16 July 2026.
In the event of failure to meet the above conditions and failure to appear for registration by 16 July 2026, the place will be allocated to the next candidate in the order.
Applicants who cannot be admitted on the basis of the results of the entrance examination (19 points or less) or for capacity reasons will receive a decision on non-admission within 30 days.
