Admissions for the academic year 2026/2027 

  • Applications for the 1st admission procedure can be submitted between 1 January and 11 June 2026.

  • We open studies only in full-time form.

  • Conditions: submission of admission documents and passing the entrance exam.
  • Before enrolment, a study contract is signed and tuition fees are paid.

Bachelor's degree programme
 
Conditions of admission 
  • payment of the application fee of CZK 850. The fee is deemed to be paid at the moment of its registration in the Moggis information system
  • passing the entrance exam
  • documentation of the prescribed documents 
  • applicants who have paid the administrative fee for the application for admission may attend the entrance examination;
  • before the entrance exam, the applicant shall present his/her ID card;
  • submit the prescribed documents no later than the day of the entrance examination.
 
Ordinary date of the entrance examination
  • the entrance exam takes place on 25 June 2026
  • alternative date of the entrance examination on 2 July 2026

An alternative date is only permitted in the event of illness or a state final exam/entrance exam at another school. In this case, the applicant submits the application via the Moggis information system (use "Other application") and attaches a medical certificate or a certificate from the university stating that the examinations have been held. The application is approved by the Vice-Chancellor for Teaching.

  • officially certified a copy of the school leaving certificate or presentation of the original 
  • affidavit that the applicant is not and has not been prosecuted - form
  • proof of medical fitness: GP's certificate - form

In accordance with Section 49(1) of Act No.111/1998 Coll. on Universities, applicants must provide a medical report from a registered provider in the field of general practical medicine (or practical medicine for children and adolescents). The report must contain a clear statement on the medical fitness to study the chosen programme of study. The certificate may also be issued by a general practitioner abroad - in this case it must be accompanied by an officially certified translation into Czech (not valid for documents in Slovak). The certificate must be issued in the calendar year in which the applicant starts his/her studies.

Conditions for enrolment in the studio
  • uclosing the study contract
  • payment of tuition fees
Entrance exam - Thematic areas:
  • Biology (20 questions);
  • Physics (15 questions);
  • Chemistry (15 questions);
  • English language (10 questions).

The admission examination in the subject areas takes the form of one common multiple-choice test. Out of the 4 answers offered, only one answer is correct. Each correct answer to a test question is worth 1 point. 0 points are awarded for incorrect, no answer or multiple answers. The maximum number of points is 60 for the test as a whole. The minimum score for the entrance examination is 20. 75 minutes are allowed for the test. All applicants must take the entrance examination.

Applicants who have passed the entrance examination successfully will be admitted in the order of the highest number of points obtained until the capacity of admitted applicants to the study programme is reached. In the event of a tie between several applicants at the cut-off point, all such applicants will be admitted regardless of capacity.

 
Entrance exam results

Candidates will receive the results of the entrance examination via the Moggis information system by 6 July 2026. Applicants who are admitted on the basis of the results of the entrance examination must conclude a Study Contract and pay the tuition fees according to the Study Contract within ten days of the publication of the results. The admission decision will be received immediately after the above conditions have been fulfilled via the Moggis information system and the applicant may proceed to enrol no later than 16 July 2026.

In the event of failure to meet the above conditions and failure to appear for registration by 16 July 2026, the place will be allocated to the next candidate in the order.

Applicants who cannot be admitted on the basis of the results of the entrance examination (19 points or less) or for capacity reasons will receive a decision on non-admission within 30 days.
