Department of Biomedicine
The Department provides teaching of biomedicine for all study programmes.
The contents of the courses are connected with practice so that they contribute maximally to the profiling of graduates studying the Bachelor's programmes Sport and Fitness Specialist and Nutrition Counselling and Sports Diagnostics and the Master's programme Wellness Specialist.
Representation of Biomedical Subjects in the State Bachelor Examination
Bachelor's degree programmes
- Fitness and Sports Specialist (Fitness, Wellness and Leisure)
The State Final Examination includes an examination in Kinesiology, and Exercise Physiology.
- Nutrition and sports diagnostics
The State Final Examination includes an examination in Fundamentals of Nutrition and Athlete Nutrition and Sports Diagnostics and Exercise Examination.
Master's degree programme
- Wellness Specialist
Part of the State Final Examination is an examination in Biomedical Issues in Wellness, which includes parts of Diagnostics of the Musculoskeletal System in Wellness, Nutrition in Wellness Programmes, Psychosomatic Approaches in Wellness.
