The content of the study programme is focused on the acquisition of techniques of sports disciplines and selected physical activities with a link to biomedical and social science disciplines necessary to acquire knowledge that the graduate will apply as a sports and fitness specialist in fitness centres, wellness centres or leisure centres. The programme thus conceived pays attention to the use of sport and physical and leisure activities for the promotion of fitness, well-being and thus the overall promotion of healthy lifestyles of various target groups in the population.
STUDY PLAN
The curriculum is spread over a period of three years, the study subjects are divided into compulsory, compulsory elective and elective subjects, which students complete together in the first year. From the 2nd year onwards, students take compulsory and compulsory electives and electives according to their chosen specialisation.
The study is completed with a state bachelor's examination. Students may apply for it if they obtain at least 180 ECTS credits while maintaining the prescribed structure of compulsory and compulsory elective courses, passing the examinations and credits stipulated in the study plan, and successfully passing the state final examination including the defence of the bachelor's thesis.
Conditions of admission to study
Applicants who have completed their secondary education with a school-leaving certificate and who have met the admission requirements during the admissions procedure may be admitted to the school.
