Recognition of subjects

The admission of applicants from colleges and other universities to the higher semesters depends on the extent to which the curriculum of the school in question coincides with the curriculum of VŠTVS Palestra.

The applicant must submit official documentation from the previous school, which must be signed and stamped by the previous school.

Required documentation:

a) an official transcript of grades to be placed in the student's file at VŠTVS PALESTRA;

(b) the syllabus or course outlines of the courses which the candidate wishes to be recognised;

c) information on the number of credits for individual courses;

(d) the name of the previous school and previous programme of study and the name of the programme of study (including specialisation for SKS) in which he/she wishes to enrol at VŠTVS Palestra, or the expected year level in which he/she will be enrolled.

Candidates apply for course recognition via the Moggis information system. Access to the information system is obtained after the application for studies has been submitted.

Application fee for recognition of 5 or more courses: 3000 CZK

The fee is payable within 3 days of the application. The applicant shall include the required documentation in the application.

Deadline for submission of applications: 21 August 2026

Prior to submitting an application, the applicant is entitled to a non-binding consultation with the Vice-Rector for Teaching or the Head of the Study Department to conduct a preliminary assessment of the courses. In this case, the applicant will send the required documentation by e-mail in advance. A date for the consultation is subsequently arranged.

Parameters of the official request through the information system:
  • in the text of the application, the applicant shall indicate the name of the previous school and the previous study programme, and indicate the name of the study programme (including specialisation for SKS) in which he/she wishes to enrol at VŠTVS Palestra, or the expected year level in which he/she will be enrolled
  • the annex is inserted in PDF format
  • maximum size of all uploaded attachments is 5MB
  • if the study overview has more than one page, the applicant scans the pages into one file
  • the applicant scans the various attachments into separate files which he/she names (e.g. "study overview", "Fitness certificate", "Massage certificate", etc.)

Only courses that meet the requirements of the VŠTVS PALESTRA study programme in terms of content and study load will be accepted.

The recognised course must have been completed up to ECTS level D and not more than 5 years before the application for recognition. The time limit is calculated from the first completion of the course, not from any subsequent recognition.

Students are not recognized for courses of a profiling basis that are part of the state final examination or that contribute significantly to the profile of a graduate of the relevant study program implemented at VŠTVS PALESTRA.

The application shall be assessed by Vice-rector for pedagogical activities.

The recognition of courses is further regulated by Directive ST/12Rector's Decision No. 101.

*Must be paid within 3 days of submission.
