The aim of the project is to build quality infrastructure facilities of the applicant, which will enable to achieve an increase in the quality of teaching of study programmes. The project involves equipping two buildings in which the educational activities in the Bachelor's and Master's programmes take place. The planned activities under the project are aimed at developing the physical infrastructure and pedagogical capacities that are key to improving the quality of teaching and expanding the educational and research opportunities at VŠTVS Palestra.

Key activities:

Activity 1 - Project Management

Description of key activity:

Project management (project administration, coordination of activities, communication with the managing authority)

 

Activity 2 - Equipment of existing premises - Teaching and research

Description of key activity:

This key activity will equip a new diagnostic laboratory and a specialist classroom.

Top level equipment will be installed, in particular Imoove, Optogait Analysis System with Gyko inertial sensor, Kineo multistation, InBody 970 and Dartfish software. This equipment will enable a wide range of tests and analyses to be carried out for sports and health diagnostics, which will significantly contribute to the quality of teaching and research capabilities of the School.

Equipment such as the MLS laser and Gymna will be installed for physiotherapists, allowing students to practice with the latest treatment and rehabilitation methods.

 

Activity 3 - Equipping new facilities - for the study areas of fitness, health physical education and functional exercise

Description of key activity:

The Building B gym and the Functional Exercise and Health Physical Education gym will be equipped to meet current standards and requirements for a modern learning environment in today's educational standards. The gym will include a wide variety of training equipment and facilities for the development of physical fitness and strength. The Functional Exercise and Health Physical Education gymnasium will be equipped with resources to allow for a wide range of physical activities with an emphasis on preventing health problems and promoting overall health.
