Ing. Richard Neuwirth, Ph.D.

He graduated from the Faculty of Commerce of the University of Economics in Prague, majoring in internal trade economics. In 2012, he received his Ph.D. in International Economic Relations from the same school. The topic of his dissertation was Demand for wellness services in the Czech Republic and abroad. 

After completing his engineering studies, he worked as a foreman in the field of industrial cartoning. Here, as a senior organizer, he participated in the development of a new product for Supraphon. He also worked as a senior housing officer, rent department. For a short time he was employed as an accountant for a manufacturing company and as head of maintenance in the health care sector. After 1989, he carried out work of an accounting nature for private entities. 

He joined the school system in 1994 and worked as an economics teacher at the Management and Service High School. Since 1999, he has been teaching at Palestra College, also as a teacher of economics. 

He has been teaching at the Palestra University of Technology since 2004. His main fields of study are fundamentals of micro and macroeconomics and business economics. After opening a Master's degree, he has been working in the field of wellness services management, where he has put together a teaching program of the same name.
