Dr. Dušan Kučera comes from Moravia, where he was trained as an operating electrician. However, for his professional graduation he had the opportunity to study philosophy and theology at the Charles University in Prague, in Germany and in the USA. He worked as a clergyman for several years, but later moved into management positions in international companies. First as a director in the IBS expert institute.

He was a manager at ŠKODA Auto for ten years, a director at the non-profit organisation PasserinvestGroup for several years, and finally moved into academia as a lecturer in executive education at the University of Applied Sciences in Ostrava. In cooperation with the VW Group, he completed an international MBA programme. He completed his PhD in 2015 at the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Economics in Prague. There he also now lectures on managerial personality, leadership, managerial responsibility and business ethics at international master's programs and MBA program. He also conducts management seminars in selected companies at home and abroad on the topic of spirituality of management.
