Within her professional development, she worked at high schools and colleges, in the Pedagogy-Psychology Advisory Centre in Prague 12, she also worked as a teacher of a specialized class in a primary school for several years.

Main topics of professional interest

  • Planning spare-time programmes with a focus on the support of movement activities for selected target groups and counselling in the field of sport and movement activities for children with specific educational needs.
  • Pedagogic diagnostic during work with individuals with learning disorders
  • Personal development with a regard for specific characteristics of a given group (with a regard for the specifics of a given group - children with learning disorders, adolescents, seniors, the handicapped)
  • the problematic of reading literacy and the possibilities of developing positive view towards reading in children and adolescents (with an emphasis on using elements of experiential pedagogy)

Professional development

Until 2013, she was the chairwoman of the Academic Senate. She is the vice-rector for educational activities since 2014. She partakes on material preparation for accreditation procedure in the field of further education of pedagogic programmes, bachelor's and master's fields.

She regularly implemented spare-time activities projects for select institutions (reception centre, Klokánek etc.) within the educational process until 2014. Together with her students, she cooperates with the AZrodina website on the spare-time section.

She is a guarantor of Student Conferences since 2012. Since the same year, she also significantly partakes on the organization of a conference thematically dedicated to the field of Experiential pedagogy.

Since 2011, she acts as an external reviewer at TACR, where she's involved in the preparation and implementation of a number of grant projects (CSF, ESF, regional grants).

She cooperates on a number of socially beneficial projects (e.g. Sporting Prague, Supporting Campaign for Olympic Athletes "Maminko děkuji"), she cooperates with the accredited education institution Educocentru, she has her own private praxis in the field of couching and pedagogic and pedagogic-psychological counselling. She actively engages in publishational activities in both their popularizing and professional sides both domestically and in foreign countries (e.g. Studia Edukacyjne, Polish Journal of Sport and Tourism, US-China Education Review B). She also partakes in the creation of college study materials (printed, e-learning) and in editorial and reviewing work.

She inititate the founding of the Student vocational magazine PALESTRA in 2012 and since 2013 she is a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal Acta Salus Vitae (until 9/2017) and the scientific journal Andragogic magazine (since 2014)

She has been a member of the Assembly of the Council of Higher Education Institution since 2010, where she engages in the works of the Ethical Committee. Since 2015 she acts as a vice-chairwoman in the committee. She actively participates on MEYS projects - IPN Kvalita and IPN Kredo. She has been a member of the Accreditation Committee for accreditation of educational facilities in the field of sport since 2014.

She is a member of domestic and international professional societies - Czecho-Moravian Society of Psychology, Czech Society of Pedagogy, Czech Reading Association, International Literacy Association, Society of Research in Wellness. (until 9/2017) She regularly actively participates in both domestic and international scientific conferences.
